ACT Empower U Planning Process
Phase I: Discovery Interview
We begin this stage during our initial meeting where we get to know one another. The main goal of this session is to find out whether we are a fit for each other. Some of the questions may include:
· Are you working or retired?
· Family?
· What are your interests and/or hobbies?
· Is leaving a legacy important?
· What do you want people to remember about you?
Phase II: Visualization
The primary objective of this stage is to take the data we gathered from the Discovery session and show you your full financial picture. We will take the information you provided and put it on our planning model. It’s at this meeting where we will point out “blind spots” and address them accordingly. The goal is to recognize the things you’ve done well, as well as, make recommendations for the areas that need improvement. Some of the areas might include:
· Cash Flow Analysis and/or income analysis if retired
· Insurance Analysis
· Back-testing of investment portfolio performance
· Debt Structure Analysis
· Estate Planning Review
· Social Security Analysis (If applicable)
Phase III: Implementation (May require more than one session)
The primary objective of this phase is to implement the recommendations made during the Visualization session. Due to the nature of this phase, it may take more than just one session together. Our team will be in constant contact with you during this phase to ensure the process is as seamless as possible for you.
· New Account Applications and/or Account Transfers
· Beneficiary Updates
· Referrals to other planning specialists (Attorneys, CPAs, etc.) *if necessary
· Funding of new plans
Phase IV: Ongoing Monitoring and Review
We review our client’s plans on a regular basis to ensure they are still in line with our client’s goals and desires. Every client is different and desires a different level of review frequency. For that reason, these reviews can be scheduled quarterly, semi-annually, or annually, and done via telephone, in-person, or virtually.
THE POWER OF ZERO
The strategists at ACT Wealth Strategies are all members of the Elite POZ Group – an elite group of advisors across the country that have been trained, vetted and qualified in the “Power of Zero” planning process by David McKnight, best-selling author of “The Power of Zero”. This planning process strives to get people to a 0% tax bracket in and through retirement. ACT Wealth Strategies is the only firm in the Tulsa and surrounding areas equipped with the knowledge base, experience, and process to assist with this type of planning. The threat of tax rates going up in the future, our country’s fiscal trajectory continuing to spiral downward, and no one in Washington being able to get along, makes this type of planning vital to one’s success in retirement. It is critical to have a comprehensive retirement plan that addresses the possibility that tax rates could be much higher than they are today, and to work with someone that can shepherd and guide you along the way.

ACT Wealth Strategies hosts educational events aimed at discussing the changing world of retirement planning. In these workshops, you will discover how to:
· Evaluate the impact of the latest tax law changes on your retirement
· Determine if you have enough money for retirement
· Use the 3 basic types of retirement accounts to maximize cash flow in retirement
· Evaluate the benefits of a Roth Conversion
· Maximize Social Security income
· Reduce, or eliminate unwanted expenses or delays with estate planning
· Understand if your portfolio is truly “diversified”
