Founder, CEO & Senior Wealth Strategist
Randy C. Cowell obtained a Master of Science degree in Geology from the Herff College of Engineering at the University of Memphis in 1977. After spending nine years as an Exploration Geologist, he entered the financial services industry, which he attributes, in large part, to the personal impact financial planning made in his own life. In 1994, Randy founded ACT Financial Services, Inc., a comprehensive financial services firm, now known as ACT Wealth Strategies, LLC.
A lifelong learner himself, Randy is a Certified Financial Planner (CFPⓇ) and is recognized as a Fellow by the Underwriters Training Council (LUTCF). He most recently earned a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation from The College For Financial Planning®.
His expertise as a Certified Financial Planner, combined with a unique "Biblically-based" philosophy, has served his clients well for over three decades. Randy is active within the community of Tulsa, OK, a place he has called home since 1982. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Western Sun Federal Credit Union, and regularly co-teaches University Workshops aimed at educating pre-retirees. Randy is author of God Good-Debt Bad, Inspiration and Motivation for Debt-Free Living and has authored dozens of financial magazine columns over the years. He and his wife, Marcelle, have two grown children, Julie and Justin, and four grandchildren. When Randy is not empowering his clients to achieve their financial hopes and dreams, he enjoys staying active by playing competitive tennis at the national level.
Randy Cowell is a registered representative of Hornor, Townsend and Kent, Inc.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® (with plaque design) and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Kent graduated from the University of North Texas in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Early in his career, he was a regional sales manager for a U.S.-based consumer pesticide manufacturer. Eventually, traveling coast to coast, as well as, the many days and nights away from his family became too large of a sacrifice. So, after 15 years, he decided to completely change careers and joined the ACT firm.
Professionally, Kent has obtained both the Charted Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Certified Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations from the American College of Financial Services. He has a strong passion for educating others, both in an individual setting, and in the classroom at University Workshops that he co-teaches with the other members of ACT Wealth Strategies.
Kent married his wonderful wife, Elizabeth, in 1997, and they have 3 beautiful daughters, Sydney, Mackenzie and Avery. When he is not empowering his clients to achieve remarkable things, he enjoys coaching his daughters, snow skiing, traveling, playing golf & music, and spending time with his family and friends. He also stays active in his community by serving and leading in his local church and small group community.

Justin graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from John Brown University in 2007, where he played collegiate soccer, and received both academic and athletic scholarships. During his athletic career at JBU, Justin was a 2-time recipient of the Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete Award, an award that recognizes excellence in the classroom for NAIA student-athletes who are juniors or seniors with an academic standing of a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA. Upon graduation, the door that opened for Justin wasn't in business, however, it was in ministry. In 2008, Justin was asked to help launch and lead a new campus of LifeChurch.tv in the growing community of Owasso, OK, where he served as Worship Pastor for nearly 6 years.
After his time in ministry, he decided to pursue a career in financial services and joined the ACT team in 2015. After witnessing his father, Randy, approach his practice as a ministry for nearly 30 years, Justin was inspired to pursue a career where he could put others first, and help them work towards their highest financial potential. Teaching people about wealth-building strategies, whether that be in a one-on-one setting, or, co-teaching University Workshops, is something that Justin is extremely passionate about.
Justin resides in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with his beautiful wife, Breanne, and their two daughters, Lylah and Penelope. When he isn't empowering his clients to achieve financial success, he enjoys date nights with his wife, game nights with his family, and taking family road trips. He also remains heavily involved in the music ministry by serving on the worship team at BattleCreek Church in Broken Arrow, OK.
